Up! Up! Lifting provides crane truck services in the Asheville, NC area and across WNC. The company was launched following the need we saw in our Western North Carolina communities after Hurricane Helene.
With transport options disrupted and prices drastically higher following the storm, it was clear that more local service providers were needed. Dominic Taverniti, a 10 year local of Black Mountain, decided to put a crane truck into service.
Dominic witnessed first-hand the need for specialty lifting capabilities while doing storm recovery work. Similarly, for the past seven years, while serving farm and commercial customers through his biochar soil amendment company CharGrow, he experienced the challenges of loading and transporting heavy cargo in the region.
Based on these common needs, it became clear that a flatbed truck with an articulated truck-mounted crane presented the best platform to deliver a wide variety of capabilities.
